Tried to play some NL cash. Tried to be more aggressive, thought I could get a weak overpair to fold. What do you think?

Depends if he was a tight player or maniac. What does his raise mean?
If he is tight then I would proceed with extreme caution after his flop raise. Still getting odds and definetly implied offs to call with an OESD and FD + pair.
I mean you are most probably beat. Does he like to overplay his overpairs then? I think I prefer a call and see what the turn brings against most types of players here.
Were you mixing it up then playing 64s in ep?

I think you made the right play. You have so many outs here you are a clear favorite to an overpair: 9 flush, 3 str8, 5 for two pair/trips. 17 outs twice is almost 60/40.
You push because of your hand potnetial, not because you think you are ahead here. You want him to call.

Nobody else...
BTW, results are in white, but don't read them first!

I'll chime in here. I don't really have a lot to add, but...and I think this was mentioned earlier, open-limping with 64h is not really a great idea. WIth hands like these, I like to play them from LP in multiway pots. I just feel they 'work' better that way.
As for how the hand played out, I don't know about the all-in. I would probably call the raise and re-evaluate on the turn.
*and now that I've gone back and read the inviso-text, it appears that SuperdonkAA lives up to his name.

I believe I go for a very large raise here - not all in. All in looks like desperation to me. If you however re-raise to say 45$ .... you want a fold but don't mind a call.
The goal here is to try to fold the other player now that hes commited a re-raise to the pot. but with so many outs you don't mind going to the river.

I thought the only hands that could really call me was a set, and maybbeeeee an overpair like 99. Even against a set it is almost a coin toss, me at 45%. I actually got called by probably the worst hand possible, in that he had a higher flush draw + overcards + plus my kicker was his gutshot to a higher straight. Kinda sucked that hand called me

Yeah, it sucked that he called you in this case.
Kind of surprised that no one has mentioned the advertising campaign profit by the all-in move. By playing big draws (and this draw is a monster) very aggressively, you are much more likely to get called when you flop a great hand later on. Whether you choose to move in or just re-raise is up to you - do what you feel would indicate more strength.
I also don't mind limping in with a low one-gapper with deep stacks at all.

How? Nothing special about this hand...you can play 64 suited anytime you want. In this case, you went against flush draw/inside straight/2 overs so it was 50/50 and you lost.

I think you've misread something somewhere.

I was 58/42 but who's counting. Are you saying if you were villain you would make that call?
