 No point in even calling this guy a worthless piece of shit...
But is there maybe some way of preventing the more obvious spam attacks like this? Like restricting people to one post every X minutes, or disallowing multiple posts with the same title, or maybe disallowing live links completely, or at least on your first day here?

Multiple posting in a short space of time is disallowed but the interval is not too large otherwise it can get very annoying. To post 9 times as this guy did would take a little bit of time and it is very irritating but usually it is caught pretty quick by the mods and dealt with.
I've canned 7 of the 9 threads and the other 2 are now sat in the graveyard.
