Is there a place on the forum w/ pineapple rules? If not someone want to give me a quick rundown?

Pineapple is played like hold'em, except you get three holecards. In regular pineapple you discard a card before the flop but in crazy pineapple you discard the card after the flop.

Thanks Tame. One more question. Do you need to use 2 hole cards like in omaha or just the best 5?

Best 5. The game is played pretty much identically to holdem other than the discard on the flop.

We play a lot of PL Crazy Pineapple at our home game. It is definitely an action game at lower blind levels...one step closer to PLO but you can still use only 1 card (or play the board if you are so inclined).
I am pretty sure that Paradise is the only place online that offers it.

As for online casinos yeah, Paradise is the only one I think, but it's offered as a play money games on other sites.

I thought UB had Pineapple for real money as well?
Perhaps I am mistaken.
Fun, Fun, Fun and suprisingly interesting game. You would be suprised how much strategy goes into reading people in crazy pineapple as well.

I think you're both right.
I'm trying to get this introduced into a home game in lieu of the games with 1 billion wildcards. Omaha and split games don't seem to go over too well with that crowd.

We are going to give Omaha a run at my next home game but they are so stupid the other players that it will be a train wreck so I'm going to propose some Pineapple instead after Omaha crashes and burns.

One night my weekly card crew wanted to do a mini-league of sorts, but in one night. So we played a P.O.T league (insert stoner jokes here).
P = Pineapple (Regular)
O = Omaha
T = Tex Hold Em.

Try playing PL Crazy Pineapple 8 (Hi/Lo) with a bunch of money-chucking gamblers. Dangerous! One guy was in for over a grand one night with a 1:1 rotation of $1/2 PLCP8 and $1/2 NLHE.
I like pineapple. I prefer it to Omaha just because Slowmaha takes way too long to play, especially Omaha 8. When we play that rotation it takes about 10 minutes for a round of NLHE and about an hour for a round of PLO8. Drives me crazy!

UB offers Crazy Pineapple and Crazy Pineapple 8/B for both real money and playmoney. Im planning to start playing it for quite a while but i haven't got time for it yet because I'm too busy with Texas Hold'em 8)
