This must've been the third time I had Jacks in a short while. Lots of limpers, so I put in a significant raise (hoping to win it right there), but alas there is one caller - table big stack, and seems to play quite solidly.
The flop seems to be pure evil and my Jacks don't look so big anymore. He calls my continuation bet so I slow it down on the turn. He bets the river... it's a pretty easy fold?

In many cases, if you check behind on the turn with a questionable hand you should call the river with it (well sensibly sized bets atleast and pending on what cards that land) because it makes it more likely that people are trying to bluff you/believe their own weaker hand to be good.
In this hand however, If he is solid there isn't many hands that call that flop OOP without a king or an ace in them, so you can safely fold. An unimaginative player will also often seek to slowplay or check/raise an ace on the turn here.
Bet a little higher on the flop next time though, it makes it a little more expensive and less likely for a lone king to float along to the turn.

Flop is WA/WB.... so I check here 100% of the time.
If anything, I think you're giving away a lot about the strength of your hand by betting. A lot of Low stakes players will automatically assume you would slowplay a boat/3 of a kind here, so checking behind will add to this.
Basically, we're trying to convince him we have boat/trips.
I check behind on flop, and immediately pot the turn if he checks again. If he leads at the turn, I will sometimes float if I think I still have the best hand or if villian will easily give up if called.
River is more than likely a fold.
