Is the small blind, big blind, under the gun early position????have i been getting this wrong all along?i always thought it was eraly was first 3 seats after the BB

Early position is usually utg, utg+1 and utg+2.

Blinds {SB, BB}
Early position {UTG, UTG+1, UTG+2}
Middle position {MP1, MP2, MP3}
Late position {CO and Button}
I guess MP3 could be classified as late postion as well.
