Hi.

I played 2 MTTs simultaniously tonight..Were going well in both over a long time and at the space of 2 mins I busted out in both..Im thinking about the hands I busted out on and wonder if these are hands you are destined to go broke on, or if these reflect a leak in my game that I do need to plug..

Here I just didnt see it coming..Should I? The guy had been pretty aggresive and taken a fair share of pots withouth a showdown. Since he had a huge stack I figured he was ready to draw on AK or something and still keep much of it.

First hand you could've raised PF to try and take it down there. Whenever you're out of position you should try to take the pot down PF (assuming you think you can get someone off their hand). Once you see the flop, pushing on the turn would've been better than pushing on the river (when you push on the river, only hands that think they can beat you will call, when you push on the turn, a drawer will take his outs into consideration when deciding whether he wants to commit his chips). Other than those minor things I think you played it okay.

In the second hand you should ask yourself what pushing the flop accomplishes for you. Assuming your opponent doesn't have a flush draw, pushing here doesn't really get you anything. Your opponent told you that he had a good hand when he called your PF raise, so a 245 flop probably missed him completely. You're out of position so a check might be in order... probably to set up a check/raise all-in. Considering your stack and what's in the pot, though, it'd be hard to get away from this hand, so this advice isn't so much to protect you from AA, as to maximize the money you get when your opponent isn't holding a pocket pair larger than yours.

Both losses look more like bad luck than bad play, but there's still some fine-tuning you can work on in your play. Best of luck in the future!

I don't see anything wrong with both of those hands.

For the first hand I bet closer to the pot on the turn. I go broke there too though.

On the second hand, your stack is around the size of the pot so I like the push. You'll get called by a lot of hands you have beat considering it's a $1 MTT. People usually don't fold an overpair there or even AK-AQ for that matter.

I think you played both hands well, just two though breaks.
