Goin to the trop in AC next weekend for a day trip. I have $400 for gambling for the day is this enough for 5/10 limit or should I play 4/8? Or should I save my money and arrive slighty later for the saterday night tourney which is $125 buy in plus 100 add on at first break. First place in this one is 10k w/ top 10 getting paid average 150 players.I've played in this before and it was fun but I am not sure which to do. suggestions? I know you play there alot wench what limit do you play?
BTW I usually play every other month at the 1/2 nl but I want to try live limit and want to make the 3 hr drive worth my time.

There's no 5/10 game at the Trop, only 6/12 and the "pink chip" game (7.50/15). With what you're taking, I'd use it for two buy-ins at 4/8. If you get on a run, maybe move up to 6/12.
I thought the weekend tournaments were in the morning. Did they change them?

I stand corrected the nightly games are the cheap ones. I haven't played a tourney there since I got back from iraq in march.

I usually play $1/2NL. I can't play limit. It's a weakness of mine.
The Saturday tourneys are at 10am I thought. I'm not a tourney player, but the hubby plays them. Just be prepared for many all-ins during the rebuy period.
