you are 2nd chip leader early in payouts, in SB with 410s. 3 people limp, including 4th chip leader in the 7th seat. you complete, SB checks.
flop comes 89J rainbow. you check, BB checks, 4th chip leader bets, MP folds, you call, BB folds. turn brings a Q. you check, he bets, you reraise, he reraises you all in. now you are in a quandry.
you are 2nd chip leader with quite a few chips invested, about 20%. do you make the call? if you lose the hand, you are near last place, if you make it and win it, you are commanding chip leader.
what do you do?
your read on the player is he sees a lot of flops and is somewhat aggressive, but rather passive in big pots.

Only one hand has you beat here right? Unless I read your post wrong.
K,10
You have alot of chips in the pot, seems like he's trying to bluff the straight. I would make the call.

is it worth all your chips this early in the payouts to find out you may be drawing at best to a split pot, at worst for the majority of your chips?

Are you in it to win or to take home a consolation prize? I don't think there are too many people who have ever won the top prize in an MTT without taking a shot at a marginal call to bump up their chip count. Since you're already in the money, even if it's not deep in, and you already have a substantial stake in the pot, I think you have to call.

You aren't drawing.

Ya know guys, I think this is probably a fold. You're getting ~3:2 for your entire stack, and while you're not losing the pot outright all that often, you're winning it outright even less often, especially against somebody who was specifically cited as being 'passive in big pots.' Check-raising a four-straight board should generally be kinda scary. Occasionally we'll be about 3:1 ahead to a set, but I can't imagine our equity being higher than ~42-43% here.

That's true, but I should point out that AT is freerolling against him.
If there's a reasonable chance that he's outright bluffing, or is crazy enough to do this with a set/two pair or something, it quickly becomes a call. I don't think we get that with the given information, though.

if he does have K10, you most certainly are drawing for a split pot on the river.
