When keeping a poker log, what kind of things do you need to keep track of? Besides the obvious like amount won/lost, length of time, buyin, what kind of things should I keep track of each game?
Sorry if this isn't clear, not sure exactly how to be asking this.
Thanks

My friend used to keep track of that, any comments, if he had a drink and how he felt, i.e tired, bored, angry etc.
I have never bothered with this type of a log though.

If you don't like this one as homepokergames then do a google and see what others are saying is important to log.
Personally I feel it is a good idea to keep track of the times of day you play for various reasons. This might help you to locate the time of day when you find the best fishing, if your playing when tired as well as other things too.
I used to keep extensive logs for my play. I kept track of just about everything. About the only thing you don't need to log is what your wearing, what you ate and when you need to talk to dog for a walk....

Wow... seems a pretty nice thing to use. What I especially liked is that it already has built in formulas. All you have to do is type in a figure, it will calculate practically all that you need by itself.
As for keeping a poker log, I do have one, but do not keep it right in the direct meaning of the word. I try to keep track of nearly all the games I play, but I do not post them, I guess fearing to show my mistakes to others.
What I do post are jokes, mainly related to poker. Perhaps itīs cuz I generally try to be optimistic about life, and good poker related jokes kinda make my day
