Look at this bad beat....
J J v A 2
Flop was J 5 5
Both all in on the flop.
Turn 5
River 5
This was what happened to a freind of mine (he had the Jacks).
Its one of the worst bad beats I've seen, which made me wonder what is actually the worst possible bad beat?

Any beat where am opponent must draw two consecutive cards that are his only outs in the deck is the worst possible beat.
It happened to me, too.
KK vs. K4
Flop K-9-4
Turn 4
River 4

Don't feel bad Diamond. I had KK vs 104. River brought a 4xx. Turn hit with a 10 and I was thinking no big deal. Well it was when the river hit for another 10.
I hate when you get all your money in with the best hand and get beat by a donk move. Poker sites should offer insurance against bad beats...

Diamond's bad beat is worse than Zero's friend's, because he could also lose to running aces.

I hit quad 5s yesterday at Doyle's and beleive it or not I actually got someone to call my all-in and ended up taking down a $25 hand. That was playing $0.05/$0.10... . I was a bit worried when I saw Zero's post with the quad fives....

I think the worst beat possible would be the following:
Player 1- 8 9
Player 2- A K
Flop- 6 7 10
Turn- J
River- Q
Note- I have not seen this happen, but I think it would be the worst beat imaginable

Not if there's a bad beat jackpot. Then it's the BEST beat ever. :D

Haha! That is very true. Could potentially be very profitable then.

This may sting, but there is no way in hell player #2 is not calling this down to the end.
I have a little trouble calling it a bad beat when the player would have to be stupid not to call.

When I first started playing ring games I played FL. I faced an instance like this last hand once on a limit table. I raised and capped and raised and capped. By the time it was down to the river I had all my money in the pot only to come out on the loosing end of a straight flush...bad thing is no bad beat jackpot....

I still think it would be considered a bad beat. When you are a 99.9% favourite and lose, it is still a bad beat.
