Hi,new to board. I was knocked out of a tournament at UB. com so I watched for awhile. Guys where in the top 60 of a 1500 player tournament. Top 50 would go on to another tournament sunday. These three players were playing and everyone was being cautious. Flop comes 7-2-2 , one guy goes all in. One guy folds , the other guy calls. Turn card K , River card I'm not sure. They turn cards over first guy has 7-2 off suit . He's the one that went all in. The other guy has K-K. I could not believe the first guy even played his 7-2 in the first place before the flop. He was really up set that the other guy called him. I would not have believed it if I didn't see it with my own eyes.
I have enjoyed reading all the post in the past and thought you guys would enjoy reading this.

Ah the ever illusive 7 2o. What a hand to bluff with in certain situations but an all-in call? Yeah right.

All-in call was after the flop. It doesn't say how much the guy had to bet before the flop with his 72.

Can we assume the 7 2 guy was the BB or maybe the SB, so he already had chips in? If not...dayem that's ballsy/stupid to pay to see the flop with what the blinds must have been up to at that point of the tourny.

why the hell was this guy surprised that he got called.

I would imagine that he wasn't too upset at getting called since he had the nuts at that point, he was probably jumping for joy.
he was definately very unlucky the other gy hit the K on the turn!
I think i woulda been crying watching the guy who was behind
coming back over the top on me

the nuts was for someone holding 77, not 72

He had the nuts. THere was no way 77 could be out there.

If by "no way" you mean "unlikely" then I agree with you. But it is possible for someone to have 77 because only one 7 is in his hand and one on the flop so there is still 2 out there.
