First hand, he was not slow playing. You were the preflop raiser, so he was only calling thinking you may have AK.
Second hand I would not have played the way either of you played it, but it wasn't horrible.

You did all the betting, its not like anyone bet and you made a bad call. And you were just doing continuation bets.

Both those villians are horrible. Add them to the buddy list.

I probably would have given up on hand 2 on the turn.
You played these fine though imo.
You could perhaps argue the hand 1 turn check and say value bet if buddy has an ace, but I like the check here. You are saying i raised pf, i continuation bet now I am giving up good time for a check raise.

First hand . villain shouldn't have called on the river. You played it like you had AK. Which beats his hand. If anything, he should have re-raised the flop to get some info about your hand.
Second hand , villain shouldn't have really slow played the set. Unless you had a 6 set he had the best hand with no big chances to improve. But then again, the board doesn't look too scary until the turn. I would have fired on the turn and try to get you away from the pot. That's easier said from here then during a play.
You got lucky!
