I am not too sure if this is the correct section this should be in or not. Anyway, I recently purchased Poker Tracker and I was just wondering what stats are important that I should be looking at. I currently have approximately 3600 hands in the database with a win rate of 21.12 BB/100 hands while playing at $0.10/$0.20NL. I am guessing that this win rate is not sustainable over a long period. Am I correct to assume this? If so, what is a sustainable win rate? So basically anything that anyone could let me know that may be useful would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Depends on your playing style. I play very TAG, and that's about the same win rate I have.

Ok, here is a rundown of what I know about PT.
First of all, before you make decisions on your play, you should have at least 10k in your DB to start to account for variance.
All stats are important if you use them correctly. Try and use them all.
The main ones are VPIP, PFR, AF, WSD, W$D, for NL BB/100 is not really as important.
What you need to do once you have at kleast 10k hands is start to find the leaks in your game, low W$D, never attempting to steal blinds, always giving up your blinds to steals, limping with real junk in EP/MP and so on.
I read some guide I found on google which helped me. I think the guide was on flopturnriver.com but I am not too sure, it was about 2 years ago.
Auto feature is nifty, and also, get a HUD like pokeraceHUD or if you don't wanna pay, Gametime+

Sicne you mentioned the HUDs, I was curious about that as well. Is the pokeraceHUD better than the Gametime+?
I was going to go with Gametime+ because it's free, but do you know if one is a lot better than the other?

I was skeptical as well because hey, we don't like to pay for stuff do we?
Well I only switched over to pokeraceHUD because it has a brilliant muck feature for showdowns and it will flsh the previous hand up on the table for you, meaning you dont need to check the hand histories.
Also it supports omaha, a big plus for me.
Apart from that it is pretty much the same, but you can trial it from the website, so give it a go.
Btw, it also allows you to have your own specific layout which GT+ doesn't.
