Because the 35% odds of hitting your flush are very enticing to many people ... especially if they're on a nut flush draw.
It's a quick and painless way to get a lot of chips.

Every poker player goes through these beats, every day, usually many many times a day, its nothing that really unique to you or anyone here.

ok, here are my comments. keep in mind that I pretty much suck when it comes to playing, but I'm pretty good at analyzing someone else's game
First hand : As much as I love to slow play a top set, if there is flush draw I will try not to. A check raise in these level can is not an aggressive players. Most layers wont see it as a aggressive but as an attempt in a bluff , semi-bluff or a draw your self. Also, to give him credit, he had you covered by a little. Even if he loses it seems like the tourney is still in the beginning stages and he has a shot at gaining it all back. So its not a total donk move.
I hope you didn't blew away all your present money already

i only chase the flush draw when i get the right odds to call...
i usually don't call big bets to chase them for no reason.
so next time u have a hand, BET HARD on flop and if u see a heart.dont be stubborn and lay the hand down if u think ur beat

First hand...the guy donked you. All the rest...are just typical poker hands. Get used to them Husky and stop playing junk hands like that last one. Jeeez son, you try to make roses out of crap....stop it.

You're a broken record. Please stop.

Some day, our young apprentice will learn that once he gets his money in with the best hand, the game is over. Results are irrelevant if you're playing to maximize your expectation. The odds will eventually take care of themselves.

In all fairness, on the last hand he was in the BB, saw a free flop, and flopped the flush.

I can agree with that one as well...Husky...try this move...next time you want to push all-in...think for a second and visualize the nut hand for the board...ask yourself...do I have that hand?...if the answer is yes then push away...if the answer is no...think about betting less...

Or just stop playing poker. Forever.
Or at least don't start useless threads because you keep losing and want sympathy.

See, huskie is the unluckiest player ever. This is why he loses. What part of this advanced thoery is so difficult for everyone to understand?

It's a bitch, seriously.
2 hands today,
A/K suited in bb, raise to $1.50 (.10/.25) table ... flop hits A/Kx. X is the villains suit, calls my push, has 10/6, hits his flush.
Same villain, same situation, except this time I have A/J and raise to $1.25, villain calls with his 9/4 suited ... hits it on the river. I ended up tilting a few buy-ins after that ...

Keep track of these players...anyone who will call a 6xBB bet with 2 suited cards will eventually pay you off in the long run.
