On Tuesday night, there's a game I go too, and the caliber is not too strong. There's a few good players, and there's a few others that no matter how long they will play, it seems that they never get better, but anyway...
We start the night with a SnG, usually we are 10-12 players. I was doing not too bad, then lost a race AJs vs. 66 which crippled me a bit, but that's ok. Very next hand, I get QQ, so I fake being tilt and I push in, get too callers. The flop brought an ace so I kinda knew I was done, but here comes a beauty: on the flop, one of the 2 goes all-in, he had the ace, but get insta-called by a backdoor flush draw and catches it.
Me and the other guy with the ace, we start a cash game for the "losers". First hand, I flop bottom two pair, he had top two pair. One buy-in gone.
Another guy drops, and sits at our table. Very next hand, KTs 3-handed, I think it's a go, I raise it up a notch, one call. Flop comes Kxx with 2 spades. He checks, I bet, he calls. Turn is another K. He checks, I bet, he calls. River is J of spades. He bets, I push in, and he called. He had KJ. The J gave me my flush and his boat. Another buy-in gone. Ok, time out.
When the SnG was finished, it was still early, so we started another one, this time 6 players. First hand, I fold, but quite some action. Flop was 3 diamonds, it was KK(diamond) vs. A2 sooted diamonds vs. QQ(diamond). Two players out. Ok. Very next hand, I have A9 sooted, BB. One other caller. I flop an ace, and my 9 on the river. He bets, but having top two-pair, I pushed and get called with 99. He caught a freakin' one-outer!! And I did bet my ace too... wow.
The first two players started another cash game, so I sit in. On my mandatory BB, I get T2 and check. Flop comes 22x. I did bet, and he called. He called with a backdoor straight draw, and he caught it. I was like, wow, ok, it's just not my night.
Definitely one of my worst poker nights.
