I rivered trips with AA, and still would've palyed the board |

Someone sent me $10 to play around with. Now, since that's nowhere near enough money to play, I decided to play limit and see if I can steadily build it enough to play comfortably (without worrying that losing 1 buyin will cripple my roll).
So, without further adue, here's what I'm sure was a horribly played hand. I'm wondering more then anything else though, if I should've called the river (playing the board)

Dude, with that much in the pot you've got to call that last bet on the river. The only thing you are afraid of is a 6 or the less likely flush.
I did some very rough math (I really don't want to add up all of that action) and you're getting something like 22 to 1 on a call here. You only need to be right in calling about 4% of the time
Basically you would have to be just about 100% certain that someone had hit their flush or had a 6 in order to lay down here and unless you can see peoples cards, I don't think there's anyway to do that.
I highly recommend you do some reading on pot odds if you haven't already.
Anyway, lesson learned I hope. Keep plugging away.

You are getting like 20-1 on a call here, you must call.

I guess in all fairness you would have to consider that you aren't playing for the full pot so you wouldn't truly be getting 22-1, but still .
Since you're playing the board with 2 other people, you can assume that you're getting more like 7 to 1, which is still worth the call for 1 more bet. Now you just have to be right 12.5% of the time for it to be worth it.
(someone correct me if I'm wrong)

Don't get into the habit of making "big laydowns" in huge pots at low limits. Probably the best piece of advice SSH gave me.
