My last 3200 hands of NL Ring Hold'em I have had pocket Aces 17 times, guess how many times I've lost with them.
Zero.
The only time I had a chance to be beaten by them is when my opponent flopped a straight to 9 10 J board, but it was a three flush and I held the ace in that suit and caught my nut flush on the river.
If you're wondering how I did it ... I raised preflop with them every single time and bet every flop with them. I re-raised with them maybe half the time and called a raise only in position.
It is not that hard to do.
Oh and I'm playing 25 and 50NL 6-max, so it's not like these guys are making genius folds.

My last 2 SNGs I've busted in 4th (the bubble) with AA. How did I do it? Both times I was short stacked on the button with action behind me, blinds at 1/4th my stack and went all-in PF. I got called by the BB with KQo (guy got a set of Ks on the turn) and the UTG with 98s (guy flopped a full house) respectively. So your full-proof AA strategy is trumped by my bad beats. Nyah.
But I do agree with your point. Don't slow-play aces.

Make that 3 in a row!!@!#!$@!
This time I went out in 8th. There were lots of limpers and the chip leader decided to raise 3x the pot in the SB, I pushed all-in (from the BB), folds around to him. He thought about it a while and called with KJs. Flop comes 6K8, turn is J. Insanity.
Lets see here....
First Aces I had a 82% chance to win.
Second Aces I had a 77% chance to win.
Third Aces I had a 82% chance to win.
Viscious and evil. This is what's called a bad run.

A lot of people bitch about losing with AA
Tadzio: I suppose I should've poined out this is in a cash game situation ... with tournaments you will lose with AA a lot more than in cash games.

Two moves to playing AA...raise pre-flop...push post flop. (Now do the opposite of what I say and you'll probably win... )
