How would you play this hand?

Friend of a friends home game, don't know anybody here, only have about 3 hours worth of reads.

Villain 1 is extremely loose - borderline reckless, has been caught bluffing before and sucked out for a monstrous pot about 15 hands prior.

Villain 2 is a solid player.

2/4 NL, I am on the button, Villain 2 is MP, Villain 1 is BB.

Me: Q Spade J Spade

Villain 2 - Raises to $20
Me - Call
Villain 1 - Call

Flop: K Spade 10 Spade 10 Heart

Villain 1 - Bets 90

Villain 2 - Calls 90

Me - Calls 90

Turn - A Club

Villain 1 - All in for ~200

Villain 2 - Fold

530ish in pot, 200 to call.

Me - ?

It would be a tough place to lay it down, but right now it seems you are at best splitting pot and hoping to turn the flush to win OR you are beat by a boat and only have two outs to improve.

However, getting 2 1/2 to 1 on your money isn't bad in this situation. I guess I lean towards a fold if he's been that solid, but I would likely call in your shoes.

Edited the original post.
Mixed up the numbers. Villain 2 folded after villain 1's all in. Villain 1 is the reckless player.
Sorry for mixing them up, I shouldnt have used numbers

I agree with arras here. It is tough spot but you almost have to make the call.

You can't fold this (in fact I would have raised the flop with your hand and probably gotten it all in as it is unlikely he leads there with KK). You have the nut str8, are hopefully freerolling to the flush and have two outs to the stone nuts.

My guess is villain has AK (maybe with the nut blocker) so he feels confident he is ahead and figures if u r just on a flush draw y u might lay it down since u dont hold the As. I doubt villain has AA either since why would he push you guys out with that big a hand? Even reckless isiots can play the 2nd nuts well. Based on your read of him (reckless), no way I lay it down.

Pretty terrific analysis on your part
I called, and villain showed:
A Spade Kx for the nut flush draw

My straight held up, and I took a huge pot down.
Afterwards I was berated by villain for my play who promptly stormed out of the room. Not wanting to really upset anybody, I just kept quiet even though I believe I played the hand pretty well

You played the hand very well. villain is stupid to think his 2 pairs will hold on such a flop. If anything he should have gone allin or push really hard on the flop. once the turn came out you really had no reason in the world not to call. Even if a solid player would bet the same you can't really put it down. It didn't play like pocket A's , and also didn't smell like AT...

You played the hand perfectly. Too bad he acted like a jerk...if he knew how to play, he would have told you that you played it well. It was just one of those hands where he was going to go broke given his style.

I know it is hard sometimes in a home game because you don't want to hurt anyone's feelings, but other than raising on the flop, I think you played it as well as it could have been played (and your hand held up too...a nice bonus!). Razz

Thanks, all.
I think hands where you have multiple draws that could be the nuts are generally tricky on how to play / not to play.

Villain 2 later said he folded QQ by the way.

I think Villian one was more pissed he didn't hit his flush. Too bad for him and good playing by you on this hand.
