PokerStars 0.50/1.00 Hold'em (10 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FCP)

Preflop: Hero is SB with J Heart , J Diamond .
UTG raises, 3 folds, MP2 calls, MP3 3-bets, 2 folds, Hero caps, 1 fold, UTG calls, MP2 calls, MP3 calls.

I know I know JJ can get me in so much trouble and a reraise can indicate a high pocket pair, but I'm too damn aggressive to let this one pass. Bad play?

Flop: (17 SB) 4 Club , 2 Diamond , 6 Diamond (4 players)
Hero bets, UTG folds, MP2 folds, MP3 calls.

No raises???? Shocked does not begin to describe it.

Turn: (9.50 BB) T Diamond (2 players)
Hero bets, MP3 calls.

Knew I could be betting into a flush. Took a chance.

River: (11.50 BB) T Club (2 players)
Hero checks, MP3 checks.

Wussed out. The 10 scared me. Actually the 3 diamonds did also.

Final Pot: 11.50 BB

Results in white below:
Hero has Jh Jd (two pair, jacks and tens).
MP3 has Kd Ac (one pair, tens).
Outcome: Hero wins 11.50 BB.

I like it. You can say most of the time UTG and MP are callng the cap two and you have a good hand with good set value with that pot. I would stay aggro till someone told me otherwise.

River I think is an ok check, but not too sure on that.

I like it as well. I would probably bet and call a river raise. What hands would stick around with the preflop action that hold a T?

At this level? Lots of 'em. Check-call is the only proper play on the river here, IMO. Betting out on the river would be fine at higher levels, but here I see a lot of people go to the mat with TJ+.

That's some pretty ballsy play out of the small blind when you're out of position the whole damned hand. I have no argument at all with the way you played it, but because you're so far out of position, I don't think a preflop fold would have been incorrect, either.

But how many 3-bet preflop?

Starlight: I think it looks fine, although I'd be inclined to smooth-call preflop with the intention of c/r the 3-bettor on the flop assuming you flop something you like.

It depends mostly on the players. If they were unknowns at .5/1 it's pretty close as those games are generally passive preflop.

I think you have to bet the river. The fact that a T hit on the turn and river greatly decreases the chances that someone has one, and the pot is so big and HU they'll pay off with many a loser. Also, you didn't get popped on the turn so a flush is very unlikely. Bet and call a raise here. The only reason to check is if they'll bluff more hands than they'd call with (and this could be the case, again it really is opponent dependant).

If your hand is no good checking probably won't save anything because your opponent will bet most hands that beat you when you check to him; but he probably won't have the nerve to raise them.

Only way the ten could have helped is if he had TT.

Looks good, bet the river. The only reason I might not cap preflop here is to see what UTG will do, whether he caps or only calls the 3-bet, you get some more information that way.
