started w/ 2000 people, top 18 get paid, we are now down to 41 and im sitting at 18th with 66k in chips....had a tough break earlier, got QQ and had a short stack push with 2 2, the board 4 flushes and he has the 2 of clubs, so i lose, he is now in 5th, but we are kinda running the table together. Anyways wish me luck 1st pays 60 something $

Good luck. You've obviously done very well to get so far out of 7000. Hope you win it or at least finish in the money

busted out 22nd....i suck on the bubble, i get 72 in the bb w/ no raise to me.....flop is 7 6 2 with two clubs....i bet out 25k and get reraised all in, i call, probably shouldnt have, with so many draws out there....but villian has 5 8 offsuit....rivers a 9 for the straight

That sucks big time especially him going all in on just a draw and then hitting it.
I don't know what the odds were, but surely in calling you've got to be a big favourite with 2 pair against only a straight draw.
I'd probably have called too even with the possibility of a flush out there as well.

All-in call was a good move. You just got unlucky.
You don't say what the blinds were or how big were the stacks or any other details, but with a possible flush draw and a possible straight draw on board, I probably would have bet all-in on the flop.

when i pushed, the blinds were 3,000/6,000 and he had 250k and i had roughly 140k in chips

wait a minute...2000 ppl, and to *top 18* pay?...thats absurd...thats less than the top 1%, rather than the normal top ~10%...then add in rebuys, wut'd 18th pay, $100?

I'm confused. 2000 players payed a $1 , and only 18 get payed and top prize is only $60?
whats up with that?
On Fulltilt's every day $1 tourney , 45 get payed and first price is usually in the $100 - though only around 500 people get in one.
In any case, you made the right call.
if he has no clubs, you're 68% to win ,
if he has one club you are 65% to win,
however, if he had 8c5c , he is 52% to win...
Its a tough call, now that you know what happen, I always hate putting my tourney life in - though I think in this case, you put your money with the best hand.
