Home Game Info

So I'm trying to get a home game going with 5 friends this Saturday. None of us have ever played in a home game before, so I'm wondering. If we make the buy-in somewhere around $10 or $20, how should the pay out work? How many places should get paid & what percent of the pool?

Are there any other details about a home game I should be thinking about?

Please help a noob Laughing

For a ten buck buyin I'd probably do $40/$20.

Another option is $30/$20/$10? Maybe

Agreed. Two places with that small a group. Some other suggestions:

Get two decks (different colors; one for shuffling and one for play) so you always have a deck ready. I would strongly recommend one dealer all night. Makes things easier and keeps play moving.
