Well, I lost $35 last night at $25NL. I think I need to go down to $10NL. Is it okay to do this with only $28 left in my account? I want to try to make that money back if possible, but also enjoy some good games that will help me learn without losing my shirt.

Losing a stack in no limit is far from uncommon. Therefore it common 'poker wisdom' to have a bankroll large enough to cushion of the effects of poker swings. Recommended for no limit is something around 20-25 buy-ins for the limit you are playing.
Ofcourse, there is othing wrong with depositing less and just having fun, but if you are taking poker seriously, then realize that swings HAPPEN and a comfy bankroll is just as necessary as good decisions at the table.
Also, your bankroll isn't necessarily just what you deposit. If you deposit 50$ bucks and play 10NL, but you are willing to deposit more then your effective bankroll is what you are willing to spend.
End game: Losing happens, winning happens, in the end we try to profit but if your bankroll is too small you might lose it all before you start winning again.

Well said Tame. I know I will have some losing swings, not a problem. I guess I will have to grind it out in teh lower limits right now and see if I can turn $28 into a decent bankroll to move up. I didn't want to have to deposit more, but if the swing happens again, so be it.
I don't think I'm ready to multi-table yet, but I know that would help build it up quicker. I just don't know that I have the concentration adn table presence to do that yet.
