is there ever really a time to fold these? even if its you have a straight and a flush draw, but not a SF draw, is there still ever a real time to fold them?
what kind of equity does it have against any 2 cards?

With the lower end of OESFD after the flop you are 42% to win vs top set, about 50% vs 2 pair, 57% vs top or over pair, 69% vs bottom pair (thats lower than your cards) 71% vs non pair higher kicker. The only hand thats really destroys you is the higher end of the OESFD. Then you're only 23% to win.

Basically, if you flop an OESFD you can pretty much raise and reraise at will.

If you always get the all of your chips in on the flop with an OESFD you're in pretty good shape.

what poto said....

Only time you could potentially get away would be if your opponent turned over two higher flush cards than yours before you acted. Even then, you still have 10 outs twice (str8 + pairs), so the pot odds would have to be poor.

only time i would put all my money in is with that draw... i love it and if ur up again AA i think you are leading, someone told me that, but i am not sure. i think it is if you have more than 14 outz, you are ahead.

but yeah... i'm not that great with odds, but indeed i will re-raise and push it all in if i was stuck with the pot.

I was called an IDIOT today for making almost the same play. I had an open ended strait draw and flush draw. I called her pot size bet on the turn. I hit my strait. She went all in on the river and I gladly called, and took her stack.

Did I have pot odds? No. But 15 outs for a 120 dollar pot against an obvious big PP was not completely stupid in my opinion.

Just put it all-in if you can with the OESFD... it's hard to go wrong there. :D

And that ladies and gentleman is how you crack aces. Sweet sweet suited connecters.
