whatcha think? he showed no strength preflop so i figured i had the best of him on the flop, but i did get married a bit to top pair. oh well i had outs! would you have played this differently?

Preflop was played fine, but on the flop, if you're going to bet, go with a pot size instead of an overbet. I'd probably check raise the flop and if he comes over my raise I can fold.
After you bet 300 on the flop, he min-raised you. That's strength and you still have enough chips to lay your hand down instead of going over the top on the flop.
Just for the future, try not to post your results, that way you *may* get some better feedback.

You said it yourself...you got married to a top pair hand for all your chips. 99% of the time, this is bad news.
