I've just noticed PS run 1M prize pool tourney once a week (or something like that)
Tourney cost $215, but you can S&G to it for only $46 against 5 players.
now winning the S&G is probably not that easy, but reaching ITM in the big tourney should be doable, min prize is around 1k.
So, did any one have ago in those?
What are your thoughts about it?

I tried Party's recently. similar structure.
I am going to satellite in (or attempt to) sometime today. Getting ITM isn't as easy as it may seem IMO. I believe stars runs a semi deep stack structure for these, and there are a lot of nut peddlers who enter.
If you play solid poker though, you can do very well! Did Supa wind up winning that double shootout yesterday? If so, he will be in it this week.

Supa, congrats on getting into the 1M game.
Pete, you really should consider the cards you feel you HAVE to call with. I missed the hand that lost you your big chip lead, but I've seen you make some call that simply didn't seem worth it to me.

Before its starts, what are you going to do with the money when you win first supa?
I think you should give back the community a mere 1k for our support and spiritual guideness .
you can give $10 for anyone who has a BR smaller then $100 , or you can set a freeroll tourney with a $1k reward for us or....
Anyway, we got your back. So go kick some serious ass.
I have a game today at 14et , so if I'm still around by 16:30 I'll drop by to wish cheer you on game.

GL Supa, i tried 5 tournys and got bubbles on 4 of them for the sattelite. Sure you will do good.

sigh. busted out of this early on.
then got sucked out on hard in the second chance option.
I've won another satellite tonight though, into the round 2 for an EPT seat next week. sigh. I'll play another couple for the sunday million next week. c'est la vie.

I bought in for the PP and PS Million. Busted out in both.
I prefer the PP one because of the deep stack. I think I will just stick to that one now.

Meh, The one that busted me down was a situation where I almost certainly had to call.
I was getting like 4.5:1 on my money to call with Ace high and an inside straight draw, It was a call that I kinda had to make. But I agree, I blew up for the most part. I had back to back good hands that I had to fold and wound up losing money on. I wasn't able to hold onto much since the table had gotten so aggressive. I made a move with A10 and got caught.
I'll be back for it next week though :D
