If you have a car, go to Binion's. They just reopened. Just to say you played there.

Bring cash. Lots of it.

Go to a show. So that you can say you left with a better memory than a bad beat. (I'd say go to one of the showgirl shows... lemme' know if you go to one... I'm definitely game for that.)

Email me if you have any questions... i live here.

Sahara runs a $40 buy-in NL tournament at 7 PM a few days a week. Play in that; however (as Sal and I found out), make sure you sign up at 4 when they start taking names.

Yes, see a show; I recommend Blue Man Group.

Go to Binion's and give us a scouting report on the satellites, if you don't actually play in one.

Thanks all for the advice. This will be my 2nd visit, but the first in 5 years, when I played Black Jack all the time. It'll be my first "poker" trip to Vegas. I've been playin a while (about 3 years regularly), have done the home games both big and small. Been to smaller local and crappy B&Ms, and played a ton online, of course. But never a Hold em run in Vegas. Should be a fun learning experience!
See you at the Wed nite NL tourney at the Sahara.

I'll report when I return....

My advice is put all your money on Red. If you lose go home.

I dont actually have any real advise since ive never been to Vegas, but i do plan on going this summer.

I played at the Saharra, Stardust, mandolay bay and of course Binions. .
.You have to go to Binions. . .If you dont have a car just take the bus
downtown it's like 15 minutes from the Saharra. I won 400$ at Saharra in
2 days so I liked playing there. But Stardust is my favorite simply
because alot of locals played there. In the week that I played at the
Stardust I got to know some people pretty well.
