Burning Changing Odds

When i play Texas Holdem with my friends some of us burn one card, and then a couple others burn 2, He says the Odds of getting a card doesnt change with the ammount you burn, i say it does, im almost sure im right but i dont know how to back up my answer logicly so i said im gonna find out online and im here now asking Does it effect the odds of another card ? Also why?

You only count the cards you've seen when calculating the odds. A flush draw on the flop for instance means that you have 9 cards in the deck out of 47 cards you haven't yet seen. So regardless of how many cards you burn, you still have the same number of unknowns. If you knew what cards were being burned it would change things.

It's irrelevant though, since you never burn two cards at once and anyone who is doing so should be told to stop immediately under penalty of being kicked in the gnids.

It doesn't matter. Using your theory of "burning affects odds", all the opponents hands that were folded would affect your odds too, right? As others have said, it is the number of unseen cards in the deck that is importat, be they mucked hands, burn cards, or those on the bottom of the deck that won't play in the hand.
