Attention Live Limit Players; how many Big Bets an hour do you make? And what limits do you play. Is it possible to make 1-2 Big Bets an hour playing live poker? What about the upper limits?

Overall, my average has been about 1.9 BB/hour, mostly playing $3/$6 and $4/$8 when I play limit.
Yes, it is definitely possible to make money playing live Poker, especially at the loose low limit games. The pro is that the players tend to be slightly worse live than online. The con is that you get fewer hands/hr. and the rake is usually higher proportionally.

Mutli-tabling, yes. Per table per hour, no. That's closer to 1.33 according to my stats.

How many tables do you play at once online. Your 1.9 Big Bets an hour for your live play sounds strong.

I must be above average or play with sucky players...  . My last live setting was playing $2/$4 and I took down 3bb per hour.
Online I probably do even better playing $0.05/$0.10 where I average about $8 per hour.

80bb per hour? Are you sure you are making 80bb per hour at Limit?

Yeah, 80bb per hour would be tough even if the other players played there hands face up... No one can sustain that rate.

Implied_Odds, the most tables I play online at a time is 3. I find I just can't pay enough attention to the games if I play any more than that.
1.9 BB/hour is definitely achievable in loose low limit games in the casino setting. Just be aware that the variance is quite high. Some days you may win 40-50 BB in a few hours, and some days you can lose 20 BB in a two hour session because of crappy outdraws.

Who knows...all I do know is I walk away 9 out of 10 times up by at least $10-$15 and only play a few hours a day.

Those were my exact words. I do not play limit as most people know. I play NL only and usually on the $0.05/$0.10 tables but I have started going up a little to the $0.10/$0.20 tables. Just don't spend as much time at these as I should. The little guys seem to pay me off more often.

You made it sound like you were playing Limit.
I still don't believe 8.00 profit per hour playing .05/.10 NL but it is closer to being a believable claim than it would be if you were talking about Limit
