Hi guys,
Just wanted your opinions on this hand to see what you would do. No real read on the player, except that he is quite aggressive after the flop.
Will post the results later
Thanks

No read on this player at all and a flop like that, your best to lay it down and watch this guy carefully. Chances are he either has , 10X , 77 or a larger PP. Unless your certain your not beat in a situation like this it is best to lay it down and wait for a better hand and better position IMO.

What hand is worthy of a UTG raise with a ten in it??? ATs? Even most donks don't raise that up.
Good push. Only thing you need to worry about is AA, KK or QQ. I'd take my chances though.

...except OP is the pushee, not the pusher.
Lets see, if I read everything correctly there is 700 in the pot before the flop. You are chip leader at 4290 before the hand starts, with villian at 1420.
Post flop you bet a little more than 1/2 pot and villian pushes. 2220 in the pot and 720 for you to call, so you're getting 3:1 on your money. If you lose you are at 2920 chips so still chip leader. And what hands do you fear here? Tx TT 77 AA KK QQ are all that you are losing to here. I discount 77 and Tx due to the preflop action, and maybe TT as well. AKs or AQs are possibles if someone is in the mood to push with a drawing hand, but I would think the pair on the board would discourage an intelligent player from doing that.
So...you are getting 3:1, there are only a few hands that beat you now, and if you lose you are still chip leader and you have a chance to thin the field by one, and have a dominating stack to boot. I call.

Considering stack sizes, I think this is an easy call.

I think with your stack size, you have to call the push. Also, why no reraise preflop? Use that bigstack!

Quoted for truth.

Yeah, I actually would have just put him in pre-flop.
But his range is so wide on the flop that you have to call.

Thanks for the replies guys. To be honest I'm not sure why I didn't re-raise pre-flop. Anyway here's the outcome:
I also felt with my stack size I had to call, it's nice to know that most of you think it was the correct move.

I play it exactly the same way, except, depending on the player, moving in preflop. Sucks you were actually a slight dog after the flop

910s for some is worthy of a raise...especially if a player is LAG.

With the player's M (less than 10), raising with T9s is nothing short of a colossal mistake, but I suppose it is possible. However, he is much more likely to be holding any number of high card hands or mid pocket pairs (although just raising a modest amount with a mid pocket pair is a mistake here, too).

Curious play preflop, I have to assume you were slow playing it, given that and his stack it's an easy call.
No read on the player and knowing you have to play the pot out of position I'd hate smooth call preflop myself, but IF I DID, I'd be calling every time on that flop and if he shows me a 10 I take myself out behind the woodshed.
