Well ,
I've been playing online fore money now for 4 weeks, though I don't play daily and even when I play its not for that long. Probably an average of 3 hours a playing day 3-4 days a week.
I've deposited $50 on fulltilt. First day I lost a nice $11 (could have been more but I won a S&G). it took me about a week to start getting the idea of ring games so I kept losing in the rest of the first week (though I finished the first week with a $6.7 profit - again won a couple of S&G)
in the 3rd and 4th week I started to get very cocky on the ring games table , made few nice profits but all and all finished with a minus of $32 (set a level higher and lost all the buyin in one hand my str8 against a flush)
Now, my BR is almost finish, I went through my hand history and it seems that I lose big when making silly calls against pot odds. In general I win a lot of small pots , but lose a couple of big ones - so my overall balance is minus.
Now, the big question , is there hope for me. Should I deposit another $50 or will I be just throwing money away?

You should re-deposit, Mr D.
If you don't play more, how can you ever get better? And it wouldn't be throwing money away because you've clearly learned a lot latley, and analyzing your play and seeing what you can do better is a big step.
Everyone goes broke once in a while, it's nothing to be ashamed of. If anything, you should look at it as a learning experience, and now you're taking your game to the next level.

Thanks you guys.
Luckily, my wife says the same.
and in anycase, I still have some first deposit bonus I need to get back. So I guess my depositing is an investment.
Will keep you informed.

Yes, definitely redeposit. Also, please shoot me a PM and let me know when and where you play and what your screen name is.

Without a second thought. We've all gone broke in the beginning. I have been playing online for three odd months starting at $100. That was gone pretty quickly but I look at that learning process as an investment. I reloaded another $100 and I've now worked up my bankroll to over $650.
Establish a set of rules for yourself. If you get upset by a bad beat or cold cards, take a timeout and a deep breath or be certain to lose much more in a desperate attempt to instantly win it back. Appreciate the ebb and flow of it all. Life's one big session. If you've played the hand the right way and you lose to someone who makes mistake after mistake, in a cosmic sense you've won. Commend idiots on their audacity. If you meet em again you will likely crush them.
RESIST the temptation to move up to the next level until you're POSITIVE your game is also at another level. Don't play when tired or under the influence. Read articles and books (I recommend Dan Harrington) and benefit from other players' ideas. Be focused. Avoid distractions such as tv or surfing the web. Always buy in with a sizeable stack. Play tight and aggressive, isolate the donks at the table and you'll be well on your way. Good luck!

Actually, more than just in a cosmic sense. All you can do is get your money in the middle with the best of it over and over and let the math do the rest. If you keep doing this and making good decisions, it is a mathematical certainty that the money will follow over time.
I say evaluate what your mistakes were, write them down and have the list by your PC, and refer to them each and every time you sit down as a reminder. Then re-buy, and avoid those mistakes this time around.
Good luck.
