Getting help while playing a tournament |

I have seen threads where people thank other members of the board for helping them or "railing" them if I am correct in that term during a tournament. How do you do this? If I am playing a tournament, could I get instant help with a hand from the forum members?
I know I am too new here to really know anyone yet, but how is this done?
Just curious.
Did you know that participating in a poker forum can help you improve your own game? Be it by sharing experiences or simply asking for help, participation in a forum helps you focus and keep 'on topic' which will help you improve your game. You can learn from other players feedback and from their experiences. Why the THP poker forums? We offer one of the best managed texas holdem poker forums available, and the community within is far more friendly than those typicaly found on other sites. We've made a 'lurkers edition' of the poker forum available here on Holdem Poker Online, but we encourage all visitors to register and join in on the conversations on TexasHoldem-Poker.com

It's in chat. There is a non-official chat on IRC that we use. Do a search for it, there is a thread that tells you how to get connected. There usually isn't any in hand help, but we discuss hands after they are over.

Okay, I'll check it out. I did see that thread.
Thanks.

Its not necessarily getting help with a hand that you are involved in at the moment. It is more so that if you post a hand in the chat room you will get instant responses for it and be able to discuss with the people (in realtime) what was wrong and what was right.
