anyone play on doyles room? |

i heard a lot of about doyles room and i want to deposit there and give it a try... i've also heard that the low stakes are pretty good, i am usually a 6max nl50 nl100 player. the only reason why i am making an attempt to play on DR is because i want to earn the his SS2 book. but im also wondering how long it will take to earn enough points by the stakes which i play.
any additional information would be good help... thanks!

I play there quite alot actually. I really like the room alot and I find that the players there are pretty bad. The bonus does not take that long to clear. You get 1 point for every $0.01 in rake. They add rather quickly actually. I hope this helps.

I played on the network a few years ago and it just seemed like any other poker room to be honest, bad players, average tourney structure.
This may be somewhat controversial but I bought SS2 and I didn't think it was all that to be honest. It's the only poker book that I have sold back on ebay.

Doyles Room is a good place to play IMO. It is full of fish at all levels and easy to earn the player points. I am wanting to talk to tech support and find out if there is a way we can setup private tourneys and hold THP games there. I know a few players from THP have signed up and play on there now so it might be worth looking into.
As for SS2...I didn't find it all that great but for semi-free it is worth it.

i actually might give the site a try, but i am lazy to move to it... i am actually pretty happy on the iPoker network at the moment.
