Haven't been at the table too long. No reads on the villain. How were all the streets played? How was preflop played? Also, what hands will be calling me that I beat? Thanks in advance.

I don't play 6 max NL, I will make that point clear now.

I think you can raise more than this preflop if you just min reraised.

Did you raise it another $12 or to $12?

I think by the turn with him calling pot and pot you have to think his hand is big, not as big as a set I'd assume, because that's mostly likely to raise the turn, so he could have two pair?

I think two pair is unlikely with that type of board.

Most likely? Overpair or at a push A8s, but we have no reads on the player. Just using what I would call logic, I think we can narrow this down to an overpair and you have him beat.

I suppose a flush draw is possible, but then even so he must be a complete fish to call a pot bet on the turn with a flush draw.

Overall, except preflop, I like it, depending on the type of player you are against. I mean is he likely to get tricky with say 88, and wait till the river to raise you? Like I said, I don't play 6 max NL, so I hope this is ok.

Looks like you have him beat here. Being OOP and him not betting/raising you at any point means you should probably be ahead. Unless you're seen as a really aggressive player, I can't see anyone being so confident you'll fire on the river that they would just check a great hand.

I think you played ok.
villain bet 3XBB preflop and you raised him extra 6XBB . Thats a big enough bet in my book.

the only hand I can see calling a bet like that is the top 6 , AK KK-TT maybe
Unless he is a real fish.

He continues calling on a blank board suggest the same to me - probably a big PP .
the fact that he didn't raise on the turn, with the str8 draw on board, suggests he married to his PP. Heck, maybe he gots A's as well?

I'd be willing to bet K's or Q's .

That said, you wouldn't have asked it here if you won this hand fair and square so lets try a new guess :
He has 8's or A2s .

What did I win?

Well, here is how the hand ended. He called my all-in on the river and showed 5 Heart 6 Heart for a pair of 5's. I was very shocked to say the least. I was thinking that he may have had an overpair like JJ, QQ, or KK or even possible AK. I was very shocked to say the least after I saw his hand.
