All In Rule Question

Alright, this has to do with 2 side pots, and the best way I can think to describe it is to just setup a sample scenario.

Player A has 5000 chips, Player B has 200, and Player C has 100. If Player A bets 1000, and B and C both call, how do you determine the side pots? I can do it if Player B has 100 and C has 200, but I don't get how it works the other way around.

Main pot= 300 anybody can win this

1st side pot= 200 best hand between A and B

2d side pot= 4800 player A is getting this back regardless.

Any player can only win what he puts in, so...

Main pot is 300 chips (3 times what C had) that any player is competing for.

Side pot #1 is 200 chips (2 times the remaining 100 B had) that player A and B can win.

Side pot #2 is the remaining 800 (A's bet) that only A can win, therefore he keeps it.

I hope it's clear.
