Just played a Freeroll over at Doyle's and finished pretty well.
Last week I got 25th, picked up 15th this week. Was fighting to hold on for the final table but my cards were bad for a long time. Doubled-up a few times and went All-in with AQs on the button with about 80k (big stack was over 200k) and lost to the short-stack, BB, holding 44. Would've moved me back to Top 5 if I'd won but couldn't recover from that, losing with A8o to A9o.
Anyway, something funny happened when there were about 100 people left. By this point people are playing pretty good poker for the most part, this hand made me laugh.
Players in hand: Guy1; Big stack @ 60,000 Guy2; Mid stack @ 33,000 and Guy3; Mid stack @ 30,000.
Guy1 is in EP and puts out a raise of 5xBB, Guy2 calls, Guy3 raises another 5xBB and both the other guys call.
Flop comes 222.
Guy1 checks, Guy2 checks, Guy3 checks.
Turn is a 2.
Guy1 bets small, Guy2 folds, Guy3 calls.
Turn is an A.
Guy1 checks, Guy3 moves All-in.
Guy1 FOLDS and Guy3 flips over T7s.
I almost died laughing and you can imagine the table chat was pretty lively after that one. Don't ask me WTF he was thinking lol.

Guy 1 obviously thought that the other guy had the 5th 2 or a joker. Great bet.
