So yesterday I decide to put in my monthly $50 on PP. I attempt to do an electronic transfer, it says it was successful, but there is no money again. I give it 2 more attempts, and on the 3rd, it finally shows up as having $50 deposited. I am happy, I get to play.
3 hours later, the additional $100 appears in my account, now, I am not so happy. I only had enough for the $50 transaction in my bank account, now, I'm over my limit and will have 2x NSFs on my bank account ($35 each) and 2x returned deposits on PP ($25 each). The transactions didn't appear in my history, affect my weekly limit, or affect my weekly instant credit, until 3 hours later. After the first attempt I took a screenshot just incase something like this would happen.
Am I out the $120 in fees that I'm stuck with???

I could be worth e-mailing them explaining the situation, you never know they might be kind. Could be worth checking the terms and conditions in case it says something about there could be a delay when depositing money.

More than likely yes. Banks don't care that the depo didn't show up right away.
Patience, my young padawan.

I meant e-mail the site rather than the bank. There's no way the bank will give you the money.

I know the bank won't do anything, but I was thinking that at least PP wouldn't charge me the $25 for their fees ... have to wait and see I guess.

I would fire off an email to PP support now telling them whats going on.

I would ask Geno to wire some money to your bank account. He likes to do that sort of thing for people he has never met.

Thank you for the tip. This is my "online poker" bank account, not my normal one, I use it just for depositing, then I cash out, and take it out in cash, easier than neteller, faster, and usually problem free. This was just an unfortunate, stupid problem and the first of its kind. I just find it odd that it says "instantly available" and if it's not, I'm supposed to assume that it will be "available in 3 hours". I really hope this doesn't bite me in the ass too hard.

So PartyPoker has agreed to at least waive the fees on their end, but there is still the problem of the NSF charges with my bank. I'm gonna try and squeeze a raked hands bonus out of PP, because this has been a royal pain in the ass.

Update: so after contacting my bank, PP ended up refunding both their return fees ($25 per returned deposit) as well as the NSF fees from my bank ($35 per returned item). Say what you will about PartyPoker, I have always been extremely impressed with their customer service over the past year and this really was a cut above what I expected from them. Now if only I could get back all the money I lost on jungle rumble ...

You should instead invest it into the stock market, legal gambling.
