I had an absolutely horrendous day yesterday. In 6 hours I went through my entire roll ($130) on $5 SNG's except for 1 $20 I'll talk about in a minute. I lost every race I was in. I lost 9 times in a row with boats. And in the $20 SNG, I was chip leader at the bubble when I flopped quad queens twice in 4 hands only to lose to runner runner quad Kings and a Royal Flush. I,m not a happy camper and just needed to vent a little.

That's tough to take man. I went through the exact same thing as you did when I first started out. I started with a $25 bankroll and got it up to $150 playing $5 SnGs. I then went broke playing $5's.
All you can do is reload and keep playing. =)

Exaggerating isn't going to alleviate any of the tilt...

Ouch...Can we see those HH? That's terrible.

It happens but honestly you better look for holes in your game and quickly before you even reload. If you find there were no plays that you made that were bad or terrible then welcome to the funked up world of variance...

Yeah you should take a look through your hand history to see if there was any way you could of played hands differently. It is very common after losing a few big hands to make calls that you normally wouldn't and also make laydowns that you normally wouldn't. I should know as this is the biggest hole in my game to date.
I feel for you though, losing with those quads is something sick (you should post the hand history :D ) I guess all there is to do now is to just make another deposit and get right back into it

that's really rough, I've been very frustrated with $5 sngs lately but nothing nearly that bad...take a break and come back from it you'll be fine

I feel for you but also appreciate you posting the horrid day. Anyone who's played a while has had streaks like that and hearing that we aren't alone in the world helps all of us. My $230 losing streak (0.50/1.00 ring) wasn't as concentrated in time as yours but possibly a similar number of hours of play. For what it's worth I'm making steady progress this month with more 'normal' sessions.
Good luck to you.

its horrible to have a losing streak and even worse losing with decent hands.
Damn, losing with Quads and boats should be against the low.
But that said, you should really consider managing your BR better. If all it takes is bad 5 S&G to empty your S&G your playing out of your BR.
Good luck, reload and go get your money back.

He was actually fine for BR management. He had 36 buyins for his 5$ SnGs but apperantly played 32 and one 20$ SnG.
You played and lost 33 SnGs in one day?

If so I think before I would deposit again I might do some studying on SNG play. Buying just 2 books would have cost less then those SNG loses did.

I think Ice may be right on.

Loosing to running perfect cards twice? Isn't that like 1 in 1000000? (except some change in odds if the SF was opended) The chance of getting quad queens twice in 4 hands I don't wanna go into... It's times like that you almost start beliving in losers saying everything's rigged. Wasting whole bankroll in a day: Been there, done that.
