I have no idea how this could be spam...
Damn you espn for sending people to post data we've already posted ourselves. Damn you!

Anyways...
I plan on watching it.
Well, plan on having it on anyways lol.

I'm watching it on PPV. I can't wait and it starts in less than an hour.

Anyone else watching it?

I got home to the tv a few minutes late, but I'm watching it.

Commentators are a little annoying on it, but I have to quote the reference to the AK hand that nassif just busted out with...

I vote we add this hand name for AK to our database.
He called it "Anna Kournikova - looks good but never wins".

That's awesome Smile

Do you think it will be worth the 25? Do you think you will actually watch most of it? Are the announcers too annoying?

I'm thinking about getting it when I get home, but am looking to be convinced one way or the other.

Posted Thu Aug 10, 2006 5:01 pm GMT by vyni
It's not as bad as I expected it to be.
Announcers are a bit annoying, but I've just tuned them out in my head.

No hole cams, birds eye view of table, cammeras moving around a bit. If you want to know what hands they folded, you'll have to wait for the finished product broadcast later.

I dont mind spending the 25 bucks to just let it play in the background here.

lol did you guys catch this?
That little parade of champs they just did, Scotty walks in with a beer bottle in his hand.... when he walked off, he was holding a cup.

I'm guessing here because the beer he held up was not a milwaukee's best? That's funny.

5am. Started watching 12 hours ago now lol.
Fell asleep for about 45 minutes and missed Butlers bust Sad

Tired as h3ll right now, I dunno if I can sit up for the next 3 busts lol. Going to wrap up a little freelancing for awhile to keep me up. To just sit and watch, I'll doze off within a few minutes.

Where it's at now, Cunninghams in trouble. Sitting shortest at approx 7.5mill but the blinds are only at 2/400k, 50k ante, so he has plenty of time to look for a move to recover.

saw the Live stream on the net

JAMIE WINS!!!!!

good on him

Posted Fri Aug 11, 2006 7:21 am GMT by Johny
I'm exhausted... that was a long final table to watch. I thought there was some weak play going on a multiple occasions. I really wanted Cunningham to win, just wasn't meant to be.

I really think it was worth the money. I liked not seeing the hole cards because it was more fun trying to make reads.

For a couple hours the high definition "Watch it now" link on espn.com was working, cost free, for no reason. That's what supa watched.. by not closing the window I watched it from beginning to end. =)

I watched it on PPV...

Posted Fri Aug 11, 2006 9:20 pm GMT by Biowza
oh i just watched it from heads up. I missed all the other final table action. Living in Australia I dont think we had the option of watching it on PPV. I'll take choppy streaming over nothing anyday Razz .

Bringing up a dead thread, but did anyone else who watched the PPV actually get billed for it? It was on my last comcast bill.... for 1 cent? I'm not complaining of course... lol

I watched it at my grandparent's house and they offered to pay for it. I'll have to ask them about that.
