Whats up guys, no need to reply Im just here to rant a little. I have been playing great poker ( or so I think) and I just can't stomach the swings...My favorite game is 3/6 Limit on party where I muti-table every day for 3-4 hours a day. I have days where I bring in upwards of 300-400 bucks a day and then the next week I lose a grand....today I lost 500 bucks and although im sure it wasn't so it seemed I was getting sucked out on the river every big pot...anyway, I'll stop crying and read some good posts....anyone out there who plays successful limit poker id like to chat with you.
Did you know that participating in a poker forum can help you improve your own game? Be it by sharing experiences or simply asking for help, participation in a forum helps you focus and keep 'on topic' which will help you improve your game. You can learn from other players feedback and from their experiences. Why the THP poker forums? We offer one of the best managed texas holdem poker forums available, and the community within is far more friendly than those typicaly found on other sites. We've made a 'lurkers edition' of the poker forum available here on Holdem Poker Online, but we encourage all visitors to register and join in on the conversations on TexasHoldem-Poker.com

Good bankroll management is the first step in handling the swings.

QFT.
And welcome to the forum. There's no better place to rant and learn at the same time.

Yep, welcome to the board.
When you BR is too small to the level you play, a big lose like that hurts much much more.
I play on the smallest levels on FT (fulltilt) and deposit the minimum, so I'm always playing outside of my BR. Its sucks.
