Miracle Win!

This was too funny and just happened in an online tourney. It is probably the craziest comeback I have ever played. 10 man sit and go, 4 players remain.

There were two short stacks with with about 5BB left each and I am chip leader, but just by about 200 chips. Villain is 2nd in chips and is UTG and calls the big blind, both shorties limp in as well. I have AQ and fire out a 4BB bet to get the limpers out. Villain calls and both shorties fold. Flop is beautiful, a Q high rainbow. I bet pot and he immediately goes all in for about twice my bet. Well, in the back of my mind I knew that I should fold Rolling Eyes but since it was only a $2 tourney and usually the play at these levels is really weak, I decided to call. My reasoning was that if I won I would easily finish first in the tourney for a nice payout. Well, villain had AA and I was crippled to the point where I was now short stack with 1 BB left. I doubled up against villain from the SB next hand when my K high held up, leaving me with 2BB and still the short stack. Then a few hands later I took out one of the shortstacks to make it into the money. Wow, I was very satisfied to even make it this far. Happy to be in the money I pick up A7 and raise all in against villain in the big blind. He calls with A 8 and I spike a 7 on the flop Laughing . A few hands later the other shortstack was in the big blind. I put him all in when I had pocket 7's and he called with K 6. I was feeling pretty good about my chances, especailly when the flop came x 7 7 giving me quads!

Going into heads up I was down about 7000 to 3000 in chips. However, I was aggressive and kept making hands to actually take the chip lead by about 500 chips. Then I am dealt AQ in the big blind. At this point villain had only won one hand heads up when I folded the SB to him (I had 7 2 and had already been stealing so I didn't really want to try anything fancy). Villain limped in, and I instantly pushed all in, figuring that villian would probably call with anything half decent considering how aggressive I had been before. I was right, and he flipped over A5 :D . I don't blame him, I probably would have done the same thing, except I don't like his play to limp in that position. A raise is called for IMO. Anyhow my hand holds up and I win the tourney for a whopping $10 :D

I felt a little bit like a donkey after that was all over, and let me tell you what...it is a GREAT feeling! Now I know why they find so much pleasure in pulling out those bad beats!
