Should I make a value bet here or check it down incase he has something big? The board sugguests that my AA is holding up right now.

I make a value bet of around half the pot. If I get check-raised then I probably lay it down.

I bet 1/3 pot and he called with JT. 1/3 too small?
Didn't think he would call 1/2 pot bet.

Definitely make some kind of bet. I agree with about 1/2 the pot. If he has top pair, he will probably call reluctantly. If he has a draw that missed (which is my suspicion), he probably won't call any bet, so try and get some bang for your buck.
