If any of you play at Party, you will probably have heard about the "Monster" promotion they have going, and if anyone had read my blog, you'd see why I left party poker.
Isn't it a coincidence that as soon as this "great" promo comes along, I leave?
No.
For those of you that didn't realise, they have swamped the cash game tables with these "Monster" tables. They rake an extra 50 cents from the pot that goes towards the prizepool.
Anyway. I just read somewhere else that it finally kicked off and the first monster freeroll is underway!!!! HOOOORAY
"This tournament is being cancelled. Remaining players will be credited according to our cancellations policy."
Oh dear, not so monsterous after all?

Wow, it got cancelled?
I stopped playing on party a couple weeks ago, but for different reasons.
Lets just say, party better get this straightened out damn quickly or they're looking at a huge loss in customers. You can't have a promotion thats basically taken over your site flop like this.

I saw this happen on Absolute one day for a freeroll into a WSOP seat. They came back very appologetic and hosted the tournaments when enough people complained.
