He's talking about how H@ll is tearing up the 5k NL at Stars.

H@llingol (the L's are British Pound signs) is a frequent NL high stakes player on Stars who seems to dominate his competition a lot.

But one reason why he always seems to have more money is because he does the all-in glitch that allows him to add anotehr buy-in while all-in.

I think that glitch was fixed a while ago, am I wrong?

Nope. It was fixed.

So he started with 15k over 3 tables and turned it into 150k?? amazing does anyone know if he plays on party poker?
Posted Wed Aug 16, 2006 1:08 pm GMT by JewishPete
He does it pretty much every session he has (not to that extent usually), but if you ever watch him, he consistently sits on atleast 3-5x max buy-ins at every table.

What kind of advantage does it give him? i mean whats the difference between rebuying 3 times and starting with say 15k?

Well it seems the glitch has been fixed, but I guess it is so that he can always take out someone entire stack. And also a physiological advantage.

Intimidation factor. If you are sitting there with 3k in real money and have KK, then an Ace hits on the flop, what are you going to do when the guy that has 50k pushes you all in?
He can consistently put you to a decision for your entire stack in every hand. If you know how to muscle like that, you win a lot of money just from bluffing.

yep its why if i sit at a table and see one guy with a huge stack of chips I try to get a tablechange
and I dont mean 5xMax buy in.
since thats not that big at the 1/2NL at Foxwoods but 7X or more 700 vs 100 is not a good thing lets not even get to when there is someoen with 10x Max buy in

Just watched thig guy burn threw 10k in about 3 minutes.

It's not so much an advantage against the short stacks (people with 1 buyin) but it is a HUGE, and I repeat HUGE advantage against the medium stacks. Someone sitting with 2x-3x Buyins is not going to risk their entire stack usually with anything less than the stone cold nuts. He's got a great style, and it's not as reckless as some people may think

Intresting...I'm watching H@ll right now and once again he's up 4 buyins at 5000NL.
Pretty cool.

I watched him a bit more tonight, and while I think the guy is great, he does reload fully to $5000 after any hand he drops below 5k. And I've seen him drop 15k in an hour before also, so he's hardly bullet-proof.
I don't know if he played in the series this year or not, as I don't know his real name. Does anyone?
And if anyone says "Jamie Gold," they get a free punch to the face.

Never knew about him before. Just checked though, he's on two NL 5000 tables with 39k and 33k. Crazy.

Damn scandinavians.
Posted Mon Aug 21, 2006 4:03 pm GMT by khaosanroad
Yes some of those scandanavians are sickly aggressive. I think he is sometimes involved with the liquidpoker forum.
