I'm not good enough to fold TPTK versus this board.

$6.90 to call $2.42 at that level??? No friggin way you fold. He could easily have KQ or KJ and you win. Do I expect to win 50% of the time when I call? No...but I do expect to win more than 35% of the time and that is what the pot is laying you. Easy call...

I don't personally know anyone that would fold this hand.

The call in the end wasnt that bad, but the fact that he kept calling your raises after the flop and turn, then went all in on the river (although you could see that he may have had trip kings as well), should have been a sign that he hit his set.
That being said, against certain people i wouldnt lay it down, and in the end you had to call, but i think all of those things are signs on someone slow playing their set, which could have been recognized.
I probably would have stayed in.

raising more preflop probably would have been better. I probably couldnt get away from this either

There is an amount I'd fold for, but it sure as hell isn't $3. If you both had a few hundred in front of you and he went nuts on the river, check raising me even I'd start to wonder....
Villian played the river about as well as one can play it. The check was nothing short of inspired, so long as he put you on the K. You are forced to call his all in, thankfully he didn't have a lot back.

What amount do you think would really make BB fold a pocket pair? I am pretty sure that even if HERO pushed, BB was calling with a PP. Or is there a different reason for raising more pre? A bigger raise preflop actually makes us more committed to the hand once the K hits on the flop. I think the size of the preflop raise in this case is irrelevant.

He played it more like K9, KT, or KJ who got overly excited about his rivered trips moreso than he played it like 66 in my opinion.
I wouldn't fold it here. I really can only see him logically having 66 or a Weaker king tbh, and a call seems validated.

Yes your right. But we want him to make the mistake of calling a bigger amount so the %90 of time he doesnt hit a set we make more.
