I was playing a home game last night .25/.50 blinds max bet at any time is $3 so you can bet .50-$3 each round has a $12 cap. I came up on this hand.
ME on button
villian in BB and is a weak tight player. He sees alot of flops but will raise PF with good hands and check folds on the flop if he misses.
Me Ac 4c
I call BB
SB calls
Villian raises to 1.50
I call
sb folds
I intend to fold to any bet on the flop if I don't catch 2 pr or flush draw.
Flop Ad 4s Ks
Villian Bets $2
I max raise to $5
Villian calls
turn 6d
Villian checks
Me???
Should I put him on AK here or continue on like I am still ahead?

Raise preflop, esp if BB is weak tight.
As played bet and see what happens. Due to the structure you probably have to go to showdown here.

When someone bets out and is raised then they call. Then check when the next card comes is not shouting strength. This is usually a weak hand. He may have a weak Ace (something like A8-AQ). I think I bet the $5 max here as well.
Also, I don't think I would be open-limping on the button with this hand. If you are going to play the hand, you should raise. Any Ace is usually good vs. the blinds. So a suited Ace is even a bit better. I think you should either raise on the button or fold. But I lean towards raising.

Well I bet the max on the turn and river and was called both times and he showed AQ and I took it down. BTW Max bet was $3 when I bet $5 I was raiseing his $2 bet by the max.

I hate tight players who see a lot of flops. Me thinks that makes him loose passive, the most awesome combo in the history of poker.
You need to max bet the turn BTW, Aces up is usually good enough and with this funky FL type structure you can't get too hurt, and need to extract as much as possible on every street.

Am not a good limit player but if he had AK , wouldn't he cap the flop.
If he slow play it too much all he would get is $3 on the river bet , if you call.
I would bet on the turn, if he raises you can think again.
