Hello All,
Just knocked myself out of a tournament and Im not quite sure if I did the right thing. I think the blinds were 30/60, there was 200 in the pot. Im in the BB and have 10 9 os. Flop comes Jc 8c 7c, so I have flopped the strt. I bet 320 to take it down right there. Everyone folds except 1. He makes it 640. I began the hand with 1295, so i have 950ish left after my bet. I reraise allin, he turns over the nut flush. Could i have gotten away from this hand, considering he may have 2p, set or just be reraising with A clubs just to be a jerk. HELP!!!

I think many of us go bust on that one.
if he flopped the nut flush you're pretty much screwed. Most of the time they are either chasing that flush or trying to protect a lesser hand.

I probably go broke here too, but Villains min-raise on the flop could have allowed you to lay it down if you knew he was a very tight player or doesn't normally min raise.

I'm pretty sure I survive this one.
I usually am very worry about flushes. And especially a flush flop. Even if he have only one C he still have hugh chances to draw to it.
But then again, lately I started calling allins on flush boards and was surprised to take the hand down with two pairs, sets etc...
So hard to tell.
btw , check my Ignoring the information bet topic , this is exactly what I'm talking about : http://www.texasholdem-poker.com/forum/t18739/do-you-ever-ignore-the-information-bet

Got to watch for those flushes. If a board comes out all of one suit then you can almost be assured someone is on a flush draw or has a made flush. Not a good board to be pushing with.
