I know it was a bad play on my part, but you know, it's always fun when things go the right way regardless...
Peace.

luck was on your side dude.
btw guys, do you think OP made a good call?
With 2 J out?
Surely with so many people in the pot someone has to have a J, no?

I don't know if I would call it a bad play. Personally I think you had outs to make the call and with the pot size you had odds to as well. I haven't ran the math on those odds so I could be wrong but you entered into this pot with the best hand and just glad to see you exit the pot with the best hand.....congrades on a good pot...

Yeah, this leads me to another question. What does everyone think a decent/standard sized pre-flop raise is at 10nl? I sometimes get a lot of people make some pretty darn loose calls to see the flop with my raises. Maybe they aren't high enough or maybe this situation is unavoidable.

Really in most cases that is were you wanna give up those aces. You were pretty crushed but hit a 2 outer on the river. With the low limits I had a guy called a all in preflop of 22$ when I had kings and he had 7/2 suited and caught 2 pair on the flop. There is no getting away from insane peeps at the low limits. I mean some of these calls im sure all of us have seen have been off the wall but I suppose alot of people play poker to purely gamble.
