And for that matter, how do we like the rest of the hand?

Take the free showdown. Looks like its still early in the SNG so why risk it? If you bet, it would have to be near 1000 which is commiting you to the hand if he comes over the top.
If you take the pot as is, you are sitting w/ aprox. 3500TC which is a nice comfy amount at this point in the STT.

I don't see a problem with calling to flop to take ít down on the turn.
I don't think it's a good spot to bet this river. I can't see him calling with a worse hand and I can't see him laying down a better hand.

Check and take the free showdown in case he is trying to trap or has KK.

Smells an awful lot like a big pair, take the free showdown.

I agree. The only hand that he could likely have at this point that you beat is JJ, so I wouldn't want to commit any more $$ to the hand.

I think his range consists of a lot more than just big pairs here, and I think you'll get a lot of calls with small-mid pocketpairs if you bet something like 600-700 here. With how off the wall check-raises on the river seem to be, and how even more rare check-raise bluffs on the river seem to be, I think we can feel pretty comfortable bet-folding here.
