How to maximise profit, how to evaluate if I'm ahead etc ...

Hand 1: Fold.
Hand 2: Horrible pre-flop play. Call the all-in.
Hand 3: Call. You have half you stack in the pot and getting over 3:1. If he hit top 2 you still have a few outs... could easily be AK.

1- Easy fold unless your sure he is bluffing, but no reason to think he is.
2- I agree horrible preflop play but the good news is we are probably only beat by 44 or JJ here and since he lead out that big I'd be pretty impressed if it was JJ. He limped and then reraised, with zero read on the guy I'm guessing it's a PP and probably fairly big to very big. I just push the rest in.
3- While I'd strongly consider folding if I had a bunch of chips back you've exposed half of your stack now and are probably forced to call in hopes he's just got a pair.

About this hand , the hand before I just stole the blinds A8o , so my semi-min raise should be looked like the limp-reraise.
I was hoping for a raise from someone preflop and I really didn't want to get only the blinds.

All in from the BB, bleh I think I lay that down. You'd have to be pretty sure it's the 4 or the flush draw and what really sucks is you have another player behind you who could have the J.
If I play Aces cute like this preflop and someone shows an absurd amount of aggression post flop I usually just lay it down.

I explained that already....
Why would AJ limp and then mini-raise. If the player is an idiot or you are leaving something out then I will include that hand, until then it's not very probable.

Call, they're not making that move with an awesome hand. They have a pair of kings or queens. My guess would be something like K10 or Kj.
Pushes that are such an overbet of the pot scream, I have part of the pot, but not something big enough that I want to trap with.
