I am hoping I could actually make it to the big tourney w/ the $10,000 buy in. My question is should I start out with the $60 buy in and go from there or should I play the Act III super satellite. Please let me know what would be the better route if you have had any past experience with playing things like these. This link below might help for more info on what I am talking about.

EDIT: Does Act I and Act II look like they are single tables and then its a MTT in Act III?

The ACT 1 and 2 are both single tables and the Act 3 is the Super. I would play the Act 2 and skip the 1 since it isn't that much more and then try to win your way in via the Super. One of these years, I will give this tourny a shot since FW is my home casino.

First of all, sorry for posting this in the online poker section, i meant to post it in the casino section.
Starting out at Act II sounds like a good idea, but i dont want to invest $150 unless I have a good night at playing 1/2 and I can play the tourney with other people's money. The only thing I dont like about Act III is its a MTT and not a 1 table touney like Act I and II. I am sitll going to give it a shot...Act I if I dont do that well playing cash games or start out on Act II if I win some money from the cash games.
I am shooting to play this either this monday or the following week. If I do well in these games, I will make a new post in the casino section. Thanks for the info/advice.

Well, the ACT Is are usually pretty easy to get top 3 and if you have a small bankroll, you might want to play those instead. The play is usually reall weak this time of year also.
I tried to play one yesterday but nobody was playing them. They were all in the 2 o'clock limit tourney.

I'm sure if you manage to turn your $65 into $1000 (or w/e) in Acts I & II then you will be able to get 9 other people to play a stt for the seat.

It's not really that bad though. For every ten entrants they give away a seat. So if the the tourney has 63 people, you just have to come in the top six, not win the whole thing.

Do you think I would have trouble finding enough people to sign up for Act I on a monday or Wednesday night?
Also master, do you sign up for this at the front where you enter your initials for the cash games or do I sign up in the back by the rear entrance?
Thanks

I think ive decided to devote $120 to playing 2 Act I single table tourneys. If I do not make it to Act II in my first buy-in, ill try one more time in Act I. If I make it to act II on my first try, and lose in Act II, ill just call it quits. I cant wait to play in it...Im already dreaming of making it all the way Its prob a tuff thing to make it thru all those acts, but I couldnt even begin to imagine how exciting playing in a major tourney like that would be if i actually made it in.
